Mark T. Wagner President and CEO
Mr. Wagner joined Celleration in July of 2009 with decades of leadership experience in the medical device field. Prior to joining Celleration, he cofounded Orasi Medical, a spinout from the University of Minnesota that is developing a diagnostic tool for neurological diseases. Prior to co-founding Orasi, Wagner served as CEO at multiple companies including: ProVation Medical, Survivalink and Altiva. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wagner held positions of Vice President and General Manager of Nellcor’s Global Sleep Solutions Group and executive positions with GE Healthcare. Mr. Wagner holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
Christopher R. Geyen Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Geyen joined Celleration in August of 2008 with 20 years of medical device experience. Prior to joining Celleration, Mr. Geyen served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Restore Medical. Prior to Restore Medical, Mr. Geyen served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Acorn Cardiovascular, Inc., and as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of Urologix, Inc., where he also served as the Controller from 1998 to 1999. Previously, Mr. Geyen held positions as Controller at SurVivaLink Corporation and as a Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young, LLP. Mr. Geyen received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of St. Thomas and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Douglas J. Duchon Vice President of Research and Development
Mr. Duchon joined Celleration in January 2011 with over 25 years of experience in the development of new products in the computer, industrial, consumer goods and medical industries. His most recent experience includes working at Hemosphere Inc. as Vice President of R&D after serving as Director of Stent Development & Technology at ev3 and managing a Drug Eluting Stent Program for Boston Scientific as Sr. Program Manager. He has held senior management positions at several emerging medical companies including Advanced Bio-Surfaces, Impres Medical, and Acist Medical. Prior to becoming involved in medical product development, Mr. Duchon managed a design consultancy engineering group at Worrell Design and held various Engineering positions at Kallestad Diagnostics, Logitech, Alps Electric and Apple Computer. Mr. Duchon holds over 39 domestic and numerous international patents. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Diane M. Sahr Vice President of Clinical Research
Ms. Sahr joined Celleration in May of 2011 with more than twenty years of Clinical Research and Comparative Effectiveness Research experience. Prior to Celleration, Ms. Sahr spent the last twelve years leading teams of clinical research professionals and overseeing the design and execution of more than seventy pre and post market global clinical trials in support of product development and commercialization. Ms. Sahr is expert at delivering high integrity data and has a greater than 90% success rate of peer reviewed publication and podium presentations being accepted for the studies she has overseen. Ms. Sahr is an adjunct professor and served on the industry advisory committee in the development of a Master’s Degree in Applied Clinical Research at St. Cloud State University. Ms. Sahr has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from South Dakota State University.
Pamela G. Unger Vice President of Medical Affairs
Ms. Unger joined Celleration in October 2006. She has been actively practicing for the past 34 years, mostly specializing in wound care and management across all care settings. During this time, Pam created a physical therapy-based multidisciplinary wound care clinic, developed a management model for acute care, and continued to pursue clinical research. As a wound care leader, Pam has been published over 25 times. Ms. Unger serves as the immediate past President of the Section on Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management for the APTA. She has previously served as the American Physical Therapy Association’s liaison to the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel and as a board member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care. Ms. Unger holds a BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Pennsylvania.
Mark Rogozinski Vice President of Reimbursement
Mr. Rogozinski joined Celleration in November of 2011 with over 20 years of healthcare economics experience in the payer arena (all payers), medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Celleration, Mr. Rogozinski held executive or management level positions at Neurowave Medical Technologies, Ethicon Endo-Surgery (Johnson & Johnson), VNUS Medical Technologies and Medtronic Neurological. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rogozinski was an analyst for Metra Health Plans (formerly Travelers) and Senior Health Services consultant at Aetna Health Plans. Mr. Rogozinski received his Bachelor of Science in Management from Connecticut State University and Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Terri J Grant Director of Marketing
Ms. Grant joined Celleration in September of 2008 with over twenty years of sales and marketing experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining Celleration, Ms. Grant held several marketing roles within the Cardiovascular and Neurological Divisions of Medtronic including Director of Marketing for the Surgical Atrial Fibrillation business. In addition, Ms. Grant has held various marketing and sales positions for Empi, Convatec, and Baxter Healthcare and practiced as a critical care nurse. Ms. Grant has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Winona State University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Illinois.
Annette Plishka Area Director of Sales - Western US
Ms. Plishka joined Celleration in September 2010 with over 20 years of experience in medical device and pharmaceutical sales, marketing and sales leadership. Prior to joining Celleration, Ms. Plishka held sales leadership roles with GE Healthcare and Alere, formerly Biosite Diagnostics, and Otsuka Pharmaceuticals in the cardiac and interventional radiology arenas. In addition, Ms. Plishka held senior sales and marketing positions with Hill-Rom, Inc. in both the acute and long term care serving as a Territory Sales Manager as well as a Product Manager for the Clinitron® and Restcue® product lines. Ms. Plishka holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Georgetown University and a Master of Science Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
Fred Taft Area Director of Sales - Eastern US
Mr. Taft joined Celleration in May 2008 with over 20 years of sales management experience, including 8 years in the wound care market. Prior to joining Celleration, Mr Taft started an Inside Sales team for Smith & Nephew Wound Management before he moved to a Field Sales Manager position in the Southeast Region for the last 4 years of his tenure. Prior to Smith & Nephew Wound Management, he spent 2 years at Danka Office Imaging as a Call Center Director, where he grew the call center from 12 inside sales people to 90 in less than a year. Mr. Taft holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Alfred University.
