CAREER OPPORTUNITIES - Clinical Consultant
Due to the exciting expansion of our product, Celleration is seeking highly competent Clinical Consultants to join our growing national sales team. This role will be the primary clinical consultant to our customer base, partnering with our Territory Managers to provide clinical consultation and expertise during the sales process. Responsibilities:
Assist the sales process by providing clinical, procedural, and economic training programs with the goal of maximizing the adoption and use of MIST Therapy in each account.
Work with converted sites to ensure MIST Therapy is part of their standard of care algorithm:
- Assist Territory Managers in identifying key clinical influencers and potential high volume accounts
- Work with Territory Managers to develop and promote positive relationships with clinical contacts and key decision makers
- Coordinate clinical evaluations & training for prospective accounts
- Provide in-servicing and training for evaluations, new customers and existing customers
- Provide guidance, teaching and support to clinical users of MIST therapy
- Enforce regulatory process. Ensure use of only pre-approved sales materials, forms, and studies.
Maintain high level of clinical and reimbursement knowledge of Wound Care, MIST features and benefits, as well as competitive modalities; attend local, regional and national wound conferences as needed.
Improve awareness and knowledge of current standards of care in wound management with customers to ensure successful deployment of MIST Therapy.
Collaborate with both Research and Marketing in the development of case studies for submission of presentations at national conventions and professional events.
Work with new accounts that are under an evaluation for MIST to ensure clinical and economic evaluation end points are achieved.
Trouble shoot all clinical and technical challenges in the assigned field territory, and provide updates as needed.
Deliver corporate developed clinical/economic training programs as required, for the purposes of converting accounts.
Assist in training (classroom and field) of new hires.
Qualification Requirements:
- Clinical Degree (RN, BSN, PT, DPT, etc.), preferably WOCN or CWS certified, or ability to obtain such certification, but not this is not required
- Wound care experience required in direct patient care
- Experience in clinical environment required, preferably working in LTC, Acute Care or other wound care setting ideally with hands-on with MIST Therapy experience
- Proven track record interacting and persuading in a clinical environment
- Highly detailed oriented, with excellent follow-up skills
- Ability to function at a high-level independently, as well as in a team environment
- Highly proficient problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills, including ability to interact at all levels within a client organization and ability to effectively present information in small and large group settings
- Clinical knowledge of wound care, with ability to effectively teach and train doctors, clinicians and non-clinicians, in one-one-on and group training sessions
- Extremely self-motivated and flexible, with ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Proficient to organize and manage workload effectively while traveling at least 60% of the work week which may include overnight travel up to 3 nights per week
